My EVO Vs Turbo GTO

My EVO is on 26psi here on pump gas. The GTO is on 14psi and race fuel. The GTO runs mid 11s on street tires "not drag radials" on 9psi and pump gas.. so we guestimate the car will AT LEAST run low 11s now in the high 120s MPH if not faster.

All depends on how it comes out of the hole...

This is from a 45-50 mph roll so he could get some traction.

Its an LS1 car... 5.7 liter. The car belongs to a friend of mine and for its setup hauls actually. The only thing is has in the engine thats not stock is valve springs.. Stock cam, stock internals, heads etc,.. all stock! Also you have to take into consideration that it just has an HP61 turbo with a P trim turbine with a .58 A/R turbine housing so pretty small turbo for that car... The car weighs 3950lbs with driver and 3780 with no driver so its no lightweight!! So IMHO its very impressive! I cant hate on it thats for sure. Yes my car rolls on it on some low boost, but my car is no slouch by any stretch of the imagination

Just out of curiousity, how much money have you dumped into the car to make it that fast? The reason Im asking is, I have a turbocharged 350z and Im thinking of buying an evo. I have always loved that car.

WAY TOO MUCH!! EVOs arent cheap as the people selling the GOOD parts for them know they can get the $ they ask for... There not like building the older DSMs where you can do it fairly cheap thats for sure... Wish they were lol.

But I can almost guarantee that the amount of money I spend on my Z, I could have a 10 sec evo. I am no where near 10's in my Z. I just love the evo. Hows the clutch on that car? Rattle/chatter? Or smooth?
