thier car is a beast. been on a 35R for like 2 years now. 20-30k miles of 500+awhp revving to 8+krpm on stock valve-train.

good tuning/maintenance goes a long way.

Mellon, was just watching your "evolution of tuning evo" video, and man going from stock turbo/20G to 35R made your car sound 1000 times more mean.

thanks Brian, I wasn't sure if I'd like the open dump and I didn't at first but it grew on me. The good news is that I can finally hear my car over those pesky f-bodies with straight pipes.

I know STM has been saying that car is a stock block but the other day Al from Dynoflash made a post that suggested it had drop in pistons and rods...if that's true it obviously isn't a stock shorty anymore. What's the story there? Either way it's fast so it doesn't matter to me.

ahaah. I have seen some good reactions from hardcore v8 guys that hear an open dump for the first time right next to the car LOL.

can you link me to that post Al made?

The motor is dead stock with the exception of arp headstuds and cams. The head has never been off the car, stock headgasket, stock head, stock valve train, stock pistons and rods, and stock piston and rod hardware [ stock wrist pins, rod bolts, bearings etc etc]. Emery has never touched anything inside the motor, just the cams and headstuds.

Very nice car and very impressive car at that. But I would LOVE to see this car run next to my GSXR 1000
