I thought it was too until I got the quote for the 2.1l (of course no core either) but yeah the 2.3rr will still run out of gear in 4th should be about only 138 trap.

I know there's one guy with a 2.3RR trapping 152 IIRC so you can still go fast with a 9k limit and he might be pushing it a little harder. 9k is what AMS recommends though.

I assume he had to go to 5th right? I don't know if a 5 speed and gear change at 9300 would get you to 152mph in 4th
