Hotrod79 called Brad while he was at my house looking to get a few fun runs in...Jayevo9mr was in town and got a few runs in as well. I had quite a bit more footage but the tape got chewed up and most of it was lost.

Hotrod79's Luv wasn't on the spray and was spinning badly but definitely had a little more up top than Brad's EVO.

Jayevo9mr just put on some new mods but it's untuned at this point and not taking full advantage of the mods yet.

Brad's clutch is about to go out but it's hanging in there well enough to get the job done for now.

Good runs. Nice to see the Luv is up and running. Should get real interesting when the spray is on.
What new mods does Jay have?

EVO9 - 6 speed
fuel pump
turbo back exhaust

20psi
stock tune

Brad has:
EVO8 (smaller hotside turbo) 5 speed
fuel pump
turbo back exhaust
fmic
cams
23psi
Mellon Tune

We're going to do Jay's tune this week and raise the boost to 23psi so it should pick up a little more power and narrow the gap a bit between the cars.

yeah it's a shame I had problems with the tape during editing....I had a real good shot of their first run and the luv was getting all kinds of crossed up on the launch, it looked sweet.

It was fun to get out and have some fun.

That luv will be a hand full on the spray.

Sux that

couldn't have shown the first race when

started getting sideways before the race even started.

Man I need that twin disc in there.

On one of the runs when I launched the rpms stayed at 7k but I wasn't spinnin.

Before I got halfway down the 1/4 I could smell it too.

Oh well, the new clutch should go in by the first week of april. (depending on DandB's schedule).
