There is a two tone black and red 1st gen in Olive Branch.A Black and Dark Silver two tone would be sweet.Put some CCW's or Fiske's on it!!!!!!!

finally got the drum brakes off rack and pinion frame sanded and ready to take and get painted.the disc brakes should be in this week so hopefully can get started on putting it back together.the brakes are drilled slotted and painted red.motor mounts and trans mount should be in this week also.will get some pics up when we get everything in

ok here are a few pics of the body of the car in etching primer, yeah its army green. still have to apply some highbuild primer (gray) and do some smoothing and then it will be ready for some sealer (black), we also took the frame over to get painted so i can bring it home this weekend and put the brakes and suspension and steering back on. i didn't take pics of the frame as its just that a frame sanded to bare metal. enjoy

frame is now painted, got the disk brakes in and all new steering and suspension parts in today also, heres a pic of the painted frame

well my frame mounts and motor mounts didn't come in so that is holding me up from putting the lower control arms on and new spindles, rotors and brakes. i did mock up the upper control arms here are a few pics. the silver piece over the center of the upper control arm is a piece of angle iron i made to cover the shims between the frame and control arm bracket to clean up the look of things. i went ahead and bought the rest of my paint for the car, i decided to go all black as the body work is turning out great so we are both sure it will turn out good enough for a all black paint job. here is a photoshop i did with hood and rims. i am going to run the front white side marker lights both in front and rear.

All Black will be very nice. A little lower in that pic would be perfect for me. Your making some quick progress for now. The fun starts when you start wiring the car back up.

yeah to me that is the easy part along with the motor install and everything else, the body work and welding is what i was worried about, but my buddy has done a good job so far. hopefully the car will have the motor in it within the next couple of weeks and i am hoping to have the car at home completely painted within the next month or two. i am at my limit as of now on getting anything else for the car but i think by time i get it home i'll be able to get the rest of the stuff i need to complete the car which includes headliner, door panels, carpet, kick panels, computer and wiring harness for the LQ9, and rims.
