02 ss vs. 96 civic
this is a 2002 SS with a Air Lid, Mass Air delete tune(speed density),Long tube headers, Off road y pipe, Factory high flow catback... Moser 9" with 4.11s..... v.s My civic a 96 coupe with a 99 B20z,57 trim, and a B16 tranny....What do you all think and who won this race? It is to close for me to tell..... thanks

i dont have any 1/4 mile times but, i do have 1/8 mile
![]() i am the one with the check mark....that was last season.. i am on 9lb now was 8... and i have a more aggressive tune on it, i am going to b on 10lb soon...hopen to b in the 7,s this season in the 1/8

very nice, I suspect it would run mid 12's at 110 in the 1/4 roughly.
what kind of tires/pressure are you running on the front, I imagine traction is a challenge. Any idea about the weight and fwhp? |

looks like a really fun streetable set-up. Sometimes i wish i would have taken that route on my car instead of making the ungoddly useless amount i do. On the streets you would kill me from a dig!

ya its a really fun car to drive and mess with the v8 guys..... i ran a c5 vette that same night i ran the camaro and put about 5/6 cars on him.... we got a lot of vid of that night...

yep a sane person would stop at the 12's because after that it starts getting crazy expensive for most cars to go faster and traction becomes a biatch.
do some of the fwd guys with big power run progressive boost controllers or something like that to manage the power? my 60's is gone up considerably now that it'll boil the tires through first so I'm thinking about getting a fancy EBC with two boost settings and remote steering wheel switch. take off in 1st on low boost, shift to 2nd and run high boost. anything out there like that? |
