That whole run seemed weird.The car looked effortless getting to 140 and he put it in 6th.It seemed like when he put it in 6th he didn't nail it right away.Seemed like he just rolled the throttle really slow.

I've seen that technique for the maxton mile...I suspect they are trying to keep the heat in check until it's time for the top speed.

i was wondering about that too. hell he was only shifting at 4500 rpm, he would have had way more time to gain speed had he taken it further. maybe trying to keep the heat soak down.

Never thought about it that way.I guess that makes sense,cause I'm sure that blower makes alot of heat.
