Actually yeah he does lift when he gets to 5th in these vids......The GS-R gearing is gaped wider there, so it drags a little till he gets back up in the revs, which is probably why....4B11-T is definitely more than a worthy successor to the 4G63-T. we had a X at the shop that put down 340awhp at stock boost with only 4 basic mods done to it.....that makes for a real quick car with very little cash thrown in to it. Mitsubishi has out done them selves with this engine IMHO.
