He flagged me down and said he wanted to run again, I said sure but need to wait awhile because that cerametallic twin disc clutch is on it's last leg and gets difficult to shift once it get shot. He begged me to go "right now", I told him give me 30 minute or so and I'll be ready, but he never said another word to me after that and I stood right next to him for hours watching others race. I think somebody must have made him aware that it wasn't a fluke and would likely end the very same way every time.
