One of my favorite race crews (and cars) came to visit MAM Saturday to test out their new tires and blower. Even though they weren't able to make a full pass, they did come within 0.10 of the tracks' E/T record (with their 4.25 pass) and they beat the track record for MPH (with their 156 MPH run).
Not only do these guys have one wicked Fuel Altered dragster but they really do a good time entertaining the fans. Throughout the day they let 20-30 kids sit in the cockpit of the dragster, and Sean (the driver) probably gave over 100 autographs to kids during the day, you have to wonder how many kids that came by will end up racing cars during their life because of that experience!
We should be seeing these guys a couple more times this year, at the Fuel Altered Nationals at a minimum but maybe a few other races too, so look for more pictures / video later this year.
